The Food Field by Parámetro Studio

“Organic food store located in San Pedro GG, México. We created all the visual identity; from naming, packaging and all sales peripherals. For the color palette we wanted to avoid an obvious green palette so we used instead a set of  3 different shades of yellow which symbolize the dawn and start of a fresh new day. The logotype is accompanied by a simple and geometric icon that can be easily used to mark their wide range of edible products.”

Brand Identity for Sisu by Parámetro Studio

“Sisu is an oriental inspired cuisine that uses mexican ingredients, together creating an exciting gastronomic adventure. For the brand behavior we created a strong icon using a dragon’s head, paying homage to oriental culture, with a serpent’s body, representing Mexican heritage. For the stationary and menus, we chose to use neutral colors, along with serif typography with spaced kernings, similar to japanese kanjis. The message in japanese translates to “Welcome back.“”

BB-8’s name was chosen by Episode VII director J.J. Abrams because of the droid’s round and bouncy look. Abrams is also quoted with saying, “I named him BB-8 because it was almost onomatopoeia. It was sort of how he looked to me, with the 8, obviously, and then the two B’s.” The name was conceived early on in Episode VII’s production and was one of the few to never be changed. (x)
